My redesign of the Insurgent cover for this contest here.
I’ve actually never submitted anything I’ve drawn into contests before. We’ll see what happens.
This took for.e.ver. But I went for kind of a graphic novel feel, because, well, I love graphic novels. (Wouldn’t that be SO COOL if they turned Divergent into one??? Anyway—) I also used the cover of Shay’s Story as a reference. And I hope it’s not breaking any rules to use part of the actual Insurgent cover… I wanted to use broken glass in the background to symbolize a million things, but it didn’t work out.
But I think I’m happy with the finished project. What do you guys think?
